OPTIMIZE STOPOVER IN A JOURNEY

In A trip sometime we can’t avoid stopover in many cities before we reach main destination. Specially if The connecting flight rare route or in case of force majeurs when the airlines suddenly cancel or delay flight schedule.

Don’t let you stuck on it! I always make plan A, Plan B and Plan C & so on in my itinerary to make my trip rich of experiences.

What we need to do is research 😉. Check the route and which city that potentially giving opportunities to find great spot for photograph. There are many cities that have beautiful city scape with easy access.

Usually I also check hotels where to stay with some points:

1. In the heart of the city

2. Near city icon

3. Photo chances / beautiful view

So, I can do some photo activities effectively, don’t make your self struggle and trapped in traffic jam. 😉

Even sometime I can do it from my room as long as I can find the right hotel with the above classifications.

The key is “DOING RESEARCH!” prior your trip.

How to do it? Easy!

Search images of best city view , usually I just search by google. Than from the images try to find where the photo spot and inquiry the nearest hotel from that spot.

When make booking, try to contact hotel and asking if it is permitted for guests to access for example roof top, or restaurants. Many hotels have rooftop bar or restaurants with a great view where we can take city scape photo while enjoying dinner😉😎

Even if in case the spot is not in the hotel please make sure you can reach it by walking distance, so you can visit the spot even early in the morning for sunrise photo shoot.
